Windows 10 End of Support: What You Need to Know

Microsoft has officially confirmed that Windows 10 will reach its End of Support on 14th October 2025. This means no more security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for the operating system after this date.

What Does This Mean for You?

If you’re still using Windows 10, your PC won’t suddenly stop working after October 2025, but it will become increasingly vulnerable to security threats. Microsoft strongly encourages users to upgrade to Windows 11 or consider newer devices that support the latest features and updates.

Can You Still Use Windows 10 After 2025?

Yes, but at a risk. Microsoft will offer a paid Extended Security Updates (ESU) programme for businesses and organisations that need more time to transition. However, this is only a temporary solution and won’t include feature updates or new functionality.

Should You Upgrade Now?

With just over a year left, now is the perfect time to start planning your move to Windows 11. Not only will this ensure ongoing security updates, but it will also provide access to new AI-driven tools and improved performance.
