Cloud
Everything connected and in one location.
Cloud computing is the delivery of on-demand I.T. services. Whether its storing files in an online storage platform to access them on multiple devices, running a hosted server outside of your business, or running your business through a single portal, if you have an internet connection there is so much you can do remotely, without needing a central location to run your business from.
Microsoft 365 is the platform that supports and enhances your businesses communications. Everyone's aware of those 'tried and tested' programmes like Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook - and you’re likely making use of these already in your business. But Microsoft Office 365 has a host of other programs and apps designed to make your businesses better. Not all of those apps will be relevant, but some will help your Team; Plan, Organise and Communicate at a higher level.
OneDrive which is included with your Microsoft 365 subscription, is an online storage platform that can be used for accessing your personal documents on multiple devices. OneDrive is accessible from any computer, laptop, mobile or tablet, for faster editing on the go. All files are protected in the Cloud should any of your devices fail.
You receive 1TB of storage as standard with a OneDrive subscription and you can access all your files and data on up to 5 devices. OneDrive provides you with a versatile platform for modern file storage.
Microsoft 365 also provides you with SharePoint Online as a central point for collaboration between you and your colleagues. You can work together with your team, by viewing and editing files in real time, and discussing your projects in Microsoft Teams. SharePoint also allows you to see which files have been recently edited, who accessed them and when they were last opened – useful information when tracking and progressing your projects.
From an administrators perspective you can use groups and permissions to keep libraries and files secure. You can also give your clients permission to access specific files, enabling them to track the progress of your project.
Instead of having a physical server on site to host all of your company's data, you may use a Virtual Server to host your data remotely. Your virtual server will be hosted on a physical server in an off-site data centre alongside the servers of other businesses. Because you are effectively sharing the energy costs with other organisations, a virtual server is an effective way to save on physical hardware costs and can use considerably less energy than a physical server.
At Mark One, we believe that having simple and dependable access to your Cloud data is incredibly useful and provides consumers with total piece of mind. We can design a solution based on the fundamental Microsoft 365 components outlined above, giving you total control over your critical data.
