We recently had the pleasure of attending the Tech Leaders Summit 2023, which was held at Somerset County Cricket Club on Wednesday, July 5th. The event was organised by Tech South West, and it brought together over 100 tech leaders from across the South West of England.
The day was packed with informative and inspiring sessions, covering a wide range of topics related to the tech industry. We heard from keynote speakers Richard Potter and Cathrine Armour, who shared their insights on innovation, responsible investing, and the future of the tech industry. We also participated in a number of breakout groups, panel discussions, and networking sessions.
One of the highlights of the day was the PitchUp Live competition, which featured a selection of early-stage startups from the South West. The startups pitched their businesses to a room full of enthusiastic tech leaders.
We left the Tech Leaders Summit feeling inspired and energised. It was great to see the level of innovation and creativity in the South West tech scene, and we were inspired by the stories from tech entrepreneurs and business leaders who shared their experiences. We also made some great connections with other tech leaders, and we're excited to keep in touch and collaborate on future projects.
The Tech Leaders Summit is the brainchild of Tech South West, a non-profit organisation that helps support and gather together tech companies from the south west of England. Tech South West's mission is to make the South West the best place to start, grow and scale a tech business. The organisation provides a variety of resources and support to tech companies, including networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to funding.
