With Microsoft’s relentless drive into the realm of AI, they have unveiled Copilot+PCs, a new lineup of Microsoft Surface Devices and third-party devices equipped with dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs). These NPUs are designed to enhance response times for AI applications, and when combined with the hardware and Windows 11 ARM, they offer several notable benefits, including impressive battery life.

Enhanced Performance and Battery Life
Microsoft 365 Apps and other third-party applications run natively on ARM, ensuring high performance while optimising battery usage. The devices boast up to 22 hours of video playback or 15 hours of web browsing on a single charge, making them ideal for users who need longevity and reliability on the go.

Introducing Recall: Your Personal Timeline
One of the standout features is Recall, designed to help users remember past activities. Whether you’re trying to locate a file or recall a website you visited, Recall provides a timeline for you to scroll through, offering snapshots and utilising AI to quickly identify and retrieve the content you need. This feature ensures you can seamlessly pick up where you left off or refresh your memory ahead of important meetings.

Cocreate: AI-Powered Image Creation and Editing
Cocreate harnesses the power of AI to assist with image creation and editing. This feature allows users to make quick changes and preview the final product instantly, streamlining the creative process and enhancing productivity.

Live Captions: Real-Time Translation
Live Captions is another remarkable feature, capable of live translation by converting any audio passing through the computer into English captions displayed at the bottom of the screen. It supports translation of live or pre-recorded audio in over 40 languages, even while offline, making it a powerful tool for accessibility and communication.

Third-Party Applications Integration
Microsoft has confirmed that a variety of third-party applications will leverage these new features, including Adobe, DaVinci Resolve Studio, CapCut, Cephable, LiquidText, and Djay Pro. This integration ensures that users can fully benefit from the enhanced capabilities of their devices.

Availability
Starting June 18th, a range of devices from leading manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung will be available. These devices will come with a dedicated Copilot button on the keyboard and an improved Copilot Application, ready to revolutionise the way you work and create.

Stay ahead of the curve with Mark One Consultants as we bring you the latest in Microsoft’s AI advancements and cutting-edge technology.
