Mark One Consultants shortlisted for the Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year 2023

We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Somerset Business Awards 2023, Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year. Now we’re looking forward to receiving the judge at our Yeovil office for the next round! 

Getting shortlisted for this prestigious award is a great effort from the Mark One team and testament to the family heart that beats at the centre of Mark One Consultants. When Mark McLaughlin, our CEO, started the business nearly 25 years ago, it was with a desire to provide the best IT advice. Today, the McLaughlin family and our close team continue to share the same desire of 25 years ago. 

Over the years we have gone beyond what any other IT company has done in Somerset. Not only do we provide unrivalled IT support, but we have adapted to software development, recognised a potential market, and successfully launched a commercial software solution with clients across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. All of which would not have been conceivable without our close family team and their drive to take on a new challenge.

We believe we represent the epitome of a family business and are an example of how a family business can grow and thrive in our great county of Somerset, to the benefit of every member of the team.
