It’s Lord’s Larder Week… Mark One Team Supports Local Food Bank

In June, the Mark One Team came together to support a vital local cause. We rallied together for a week to collect non-perishable food items for the Lord's Larder, a food bank in Yeovil that provides food to people in need in Yeovil and South Somerset.

Last week, we delivered a large box of non-perishable items to the food bank, along with a donation of £500 to support their continued work. These funds will help the Lord's Larder keep the shelves stocked with food and enable them to support local people who are struggling to put food on the table.

The Lord's Larder was founded in 1991 and has grown from a small cupboard in a church vestry to a lifeline for people in South Somerset. In 2022, over 183,000 items of food were given out via 70 different agencies to help over 9,700 local people.

We are grateful to our team for coming together and supporting this initiative. We are also grateful to the volunteers at the Lord's Larder for their unwavering commitment to helping people in our community.

If you're interested in supporting the Lord's Larder, you can donate food, money, or your time. To learn more, visit their website at www.ycstyeovil.org.uk/the-lords-larder
