Celebrating a Successful ISO Audit
by Ben Grave - Wed 03 Jul 2024We’re excited to share some fantastic news here at Mark One Consultants – we’ve just passed our recent ISO audit with flying colours! Not only did we pass, but we had zero minor or major non-conformances, a rarity according to our assessor. This achievement is a big deal for us and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, especially Kerry, our Finance Director, and Chelsea, our office administrator.
One of the significant parts of this audit was our transition from ISO 27001:2017 to ISO 27001:2022. This required a detailed update to our Statement of Applicability (SOA) and some tweaks to other clauses. It wasn’t a small task, but we managed it smoothly, showing our commitment to keeping up with the latest standards for information security.
We understand that the needs and requirements of our clients and stakeholders for information security and environmental impact are always evolving. That’s why we constantly assess and adjust our practices to stay ahead. This proactive approach helps us stay compliant and meet the expectations of everyone we work with.
Our audit was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a UKAS accredited ISO compliance business. They reviewed both our ISO 27001 for information security and ISO 9001 for quality standards over a thorough two-day audit via Microsoft Teams. It was a rigorous process, but it confirmed that our head office and data centre are secure and our quality processes are top-notch.
The audit covered GMW Holdings and its subsidiaries, including Mark One Consultants and TEAMS Software. Ensuring compliance across all these entities is crucial for us, and we’re pleased that we met the high standards required.
We’ve always believed in continuous improvement and effective risk management. Throughout the year, we conduct regular risk assessments, bi-annual management meetings, and internal audits. These efforts ensure that we’re always prepared for external audits and can maintain our high standards.
Passing this ISO audit with no non-conformances is a huge milestone for us. It reaffirms our commitment to quality and security and sets a high benchmark for the future. We’re incredibly proud of Kerry and her team’s dedication and hard work in making this happen.
